Our Process
-
Step 1) Vision-Screening
Using a computer and a smart phone, we can assess whether you have 20/20 vision in as little as 10 minutes.
If you have a code from your institution, you can enter before the test and it will be billed to your employer or school.
-
Step 2) Telehealth Triage
Meet with an Optometric Assistant to discuss your test results.
We will discuss your ocular health, help you review your eligibility for an eye exam, and what your eyewear needs look like.
-
Step 3) Referrals
Meet with an Optometrist for a comprehensive eye exam. All Eye Care Ontario members get special pricing on eye care and eyewear with our partners.
We will connect you with our verified partners to make sure you get the best care possible.
Your health and privacy is our top priority.
Eye Care Ontario is PHIPAA and PIPEDA compliant.

Glasses change lives.
If you ask anyone with a pair of glasses:
"Do you remember wearing your glasses for the first time?"
The answer is always "yes" and it is then proceeded by their story.
We share the same story. We're here to help detect, assess, and address vision-loss so you can tell your story too.

If you already use glasses or contacts, you must keep them on for the duration of the test. Wearing your prescription during the test will tell us whether your prescription is up to date and still effective.
If you do not yet have glasses or contacts, don't worry! After the test is complete, we will inform you whether a corrective prescription in a pair of glasses or contacts would help you see better.
